The Acting Minister Dr Edwin Dikoloti has encouraged the nation to be Foot and Mouth ambassadors in their daily activities. Speaking during the tour of the National Emergency Operations Centre and Tlokweng border gates , he said people should come together and fight the spread of FMD, he said they should teach each other about it so that they can be able to notice itβs signs in their livestock and report for immediate action.
He applauded those who have already volunteered in assisting to fight the disease in any way stating that if more people could do it then the country will win the fight.
When interacting with officers at the National Emergency Operations Center he encouraged them to be agile in responding to the reported incidents alerts for better results.
