Graduated from Royal Vet College in 1996. A private vet in a mixed practice clinic. His interest is livestock production and farmers education. He previously served in BVSC 2012 till 2018. He has also served as a board member for BoMRA and BVI.

Dr Moses Gabaitse graduated from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. He has over seven years of experience in private mixed veterinary practice in Botswana, with professional involvement in both small and large animal clinical services. He is currently practicing at Afriark Animal Health and is committed to upholding high standards of veterinary practice, animal welfare, and ethical service delivery within the profession.

Dr Mazhani is a Lecturer at the Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. She is passionate about teaching and research in the area of veterinary public health. Before this she was Principal Veterinary Officer, Meat Hygiene and Public health in the Department of Veterinary Services. Where she played a regulatory role for more than 10 years. She holds a Masters in Food Studies from University of Queensland, Australia and a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine from University College Dublin, Ireland.

A graduate of University College Dublin, Ireland, Dr Wave Kashweeka served in the Ministry of Agriculture(Department of Veterinary Services) for 4 years before transferring to the Ministry of Environment and Tourism in 2018. He is currently employed as Principal Veterinary Officer in the Department of Wildlife and National Parks. He posseses a wealth of experience in disease control and surveillance at the livestock-wildlife interface, human-wildlife conflict resolution as well as sustainable natural resource utilisation.

Christinah Matseke is a seasoned legal professional with 19 years of experience in public service. She graduated from the University of Botswana in 2007 and began her career in the same year as a State Counsel in the Attorney General’s Chambers and moved through different ranks until 2016 when she left to hold higher roles across District Councils. She joined Chobe District Council as Head of Legal Services, later moving to Kweneng District Council in 2018 in the same capacity. Her expertise and dedication to the legal profession led her back to the Attorney General’s Chambers in March 2025, where she currently serves as Chief State Counsel.

Kgosi Odirile Sekwenyane is the Chief of Phitshane Molopo Village in the Goodhope District. He holds a Certificate in Law from GUC (2011) and a Certificate in Computer Studies from GIPS (2003). He also completed his Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) at Ledumang Senior Secondary School in 2002.

Dr. Thabang Phetlhe is an expert in veterinary medicines regulation with over 12 years of experience spanning field services, public health, pharmacovigilance and clinical trials. Currently serving as a Dossier Assessor for Veterinary medicine at the Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BOMRA). He was instrumental in the establishment of Veterinary pharmacovigilance system. He is a dedicated advocate for Quality management systems and safety of veterinary medicines. His career is defined by a commitment in ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficacy and safety in animal health products. Dr Phetlhe holds a bachelor's degree of veterinary medicine from the University College Dublin, Ireland.

Dr Comfort Nkgowe (DVM, MVS) graduated in 2008 from the University of West Indies. He further obtained Master of Veterinary studies with the Murdoch University. Dr Nkgowe worked as District Veterinary Officer with the Department of Veterinary Services and then provided service to the department of wildlife and national park from 2016 until 2024. He is now a coordinator of Animal health and Production with Botswana Correctional Service.
